Venue: The Fifth, Rockwell With almost 500 participants from the tech industry, the Iontech Partners Summit 2023 was held to highlight the success of the company and to strengthen their partnerships among leading tech brands within the country. Among their partners is Lenovo, who had a special air time segment on the 2-day event. I had the pleasure of hosting for the brand with the goal of keeping them up to date with Lenovo's latest innovations. I also had the pleasure of introducing their key leaders who took the stage as well. We wrapped up the segment with an engaging summit-wide game and awarded the winners with a set of Polos and Legion Pro Headsets. October 28 and 29 Ready, Set, Roll allowed two days of pure hallo-fun for happy trick-or-treaters: both kids and kids-at-heart at The Fifth, Rockwell! The entire hall was transformed into a life-sized board game realm where kids enjoyed activity booths that revolved around this year's theme: Board Games. I hosted as the Game Master and shared the stage with the event performers: Sherwin Wizzo the Magician and Tectonix the Balloon Show. We had 2 runs of our halloween program each day, for both days. Seven months after meeting through a screen, one sitting at Manila and two at LA, the most-awaited special day of Sean and Jenny finally arrived. Johnnie Rhythm & Roll was a project launch x celebration that sprung from the Philippine leg of the 3-part series collaboration of Johnnie Walker and VICE called: Walk Beyond Collabs. The event aimed to raise a glass to support Filipino music and the growing community of rollerskaters in the country. There were musical performances by Careless Music PH artists and a Rollerskate Session hosted by myself while Debbie hosted the majority of the program. It was a night I won't forget as it's also the first time I get to do two of my passions in one moment, and even more, share it with a community close to my heart! Countless thank yous to each person we got to work with and learn from in this wild experience! With the goal of crossing the worlds of Philippine pop music and the local sub-culture of rollerskating, Johnnie Walker and VICE tapped James Reid of Careless Music who is known to many as a creatively disruptive artist, to work together with myself and my rollerskate crew, the Skatebomb Girls. The goal was to allow our worlds to blend so we can create something that has never been done before... but I won't spoil the rest so you can enjoy watching the full documentary! If anything, we felt collaboration to the truest sense of the word and are ever grateful to represent the growing local community in the Philippines!
